The three links below provide some summary statistical data on the tin industry, with data on production and consumption available for download in Excel spreadsheet format in each case. Please identify ITRI as the data source if you include this information in any reports or publications.

• Top tin producers - Eight of the world’s top 10 tin producers are ITRI members. Our members account for just over 70% of estimated world tin metal production.
• Data on Tin Use in 2008 - The tin user survey results come from an annual exercise to gather data from a large sample of companies using tin. This has been carried out since 2005 and identifies the importance of different applications. Companies participating in the survey receive a more detailed report on our findings.
• Long-term trends in tin-in-concentrate production - The third resource is a long-term history of tin mine production by country from 2007.
